What you’ll do…
The Senior Sales Associate is an elite member of the team and acts an extension of the management team by providing front line support to ensure the needs of the business are met. You are responsible for assuming the leadership role in absence of the Store Manager while demonstrating superior product knowledge, resolves complex customer inquiries and manages escalated service issues, styling skills, building our clientele and ensuring our store visually exceeds customer expectations in order to achieve key financial targets.
- Achieve personal sales and productivity goals through the consistent practice and delivery of the Olsen Brand and Selling Strategy
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience while building lasting customer relationships through personalized customer service
- Assume the leadership role in the absence of Store Manager as required (ie. Training, coaching, scheduling, tracking, goal setting, conference call attendance, etc.)
- Build and maintain a personal clientele database (CDC) and participate in all Olsen Store Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs
- Foster a climate of Service Excellence- Deliver service that delights our customers. Understands call flow dynamics and consistently ranks in the highest percentile of communication quality. Effortlessly manages escalated customer issues maximizing lifetime customer value.
- Accept feedback and coaching on selling and customer service skills and endeavor to exceed on all company expectations
- Ensure visual merchandising and housekeeping standards are executed and maintained by following Olsen’s Brand and Visual Guidelines
- Responsible for the opening/closing of the store and securing all store assets in accordance with company and mall/licensed partner policies and procedures
- Execute all inventory, cash, payment systems and computer procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure to follow all loss prevention policies
- Always establish and maintain health and safety work procedures and act safely in the workplace.
- Completes projects as assigned, provide progress updates, and communicate delays. Involve staff members in the completion of project milestones as needed.
- Continuously monitors business processes and brings forward opportunities for operational process improvements.

· Exceptional customer service skills
- Must possess and consistently exhibit the competencies relative to the position.
- Minimum 2-3 years in retail management
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, customers, and public
- Proficient skills in coaching and talent management.
- The understanding of in-store retail operations and all cash procedures.
- College degree and or previous lead experience in a customer service/contact center.
- Well- developed leadership skills, including an ability to address employee issues.
- Ability to accept diversity and ongoing change within the workplace
- Maintain an exemplary degree of professionalism and integrity in all situations
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management, e-mail response, and Microsoft application.
